Hi, I’m Melodie

I’ve been part of the Young Living family since 1997, and what started as a personal journey has grown into a lifelong passion for helping others learn, share, and build businesses that truly support their lives.

Early in my journey, I had the privilege of learning directly from Gary Young through many trainings. Those experiences shaped how I approached both wellness and business and gave me a deep appreciation for education and community.

For nearly three decades, I’ve been walking this path alongside my team, learning, simplifying, teaching, and creating tools to make the journey easier for the people who come after me.

When I first discovered Young Living, I fell in love with the oils and the lifestyle they supported. Like many people, I began by sharing with friends and family… and slowly realized this could become something much bigger.

Over time, my small sharing circle grew into a thriving team and a family business that has blessed my life in countless ways.

In 1999, I began publishing the Grade A Notes newsletter to share what I was learning about essential oils.

It started as an email newsletter that I also printed and mailed, long before social media existed. Over time it grew into multiple newsletters and a large library of education and team training resources, designed to make sharing simpler for our team.

For years, my resources lived across multiple websites. This site brings everything together into one home.

I really love the freedom of working from home with Young Living and helping others learn to build their own YL business became one of my greatest joys.

My goal is simple:
To make building a Young Living business feel simpler, more supported, and more doable.

You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
You have a place to learn, tools to use, and a team walking beside you.

Within the first few years of building my Young Living business, I noticed something important:

Success wasn’t just about knowing what to do.
Many people already knew the steps.

The real challenge was the emotional side of building a business:
• Fear of rejection
• Self-doubt
• Procrastination
• Feeling overwhelmed
• Worry about what others think

So I began studying Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and trained with several mentors so I could use it in my own life and teach it to my team.

When I started applying EFT alongside simple business systems, everything changed.

Not only did my own business grow, I saw team members gain confidence, take action, and move past the blocks that had been holding them back.

That combination became a cornerstone of how I support our team today.

 

Today, I continue to work alongside my family and team, sharing the tools and experience gathered over 29 years in Young Living.

Nothing makes me happier than helping someone take their next step — whether that’s learning about oils, gaining confidence to share, or growing a business that blesses their family.
